3.7.7. voice-vlan mode

Syntax

voice-vlan mode (auto|manual)

no voice-vlan mode

Parameter

auto

Specifies that the port is identified as acandidate to join the voice VLAN. When a packet with a source OUI MAC address that identifies the remote equipment as voice equipment is seen on the port, the port joins the voice VLAN as a tagged port.

manual

Specifies that the port is manually assigned to the voice VLAN.

Default

The default is auto mode.

Interface Configuration

Usage

Use the voice-vlan mode global configuration command to configure the voice VLAN mode for interface. Use the “no” form to restore to default mode. You can verify your setting by entering the show voice-vlan interfaces command.

The following example how to configure voice mode to manual.
