Syntax

show logging [buffered|file]

Parameter


buffered Display the log messages stored in the RAM.

file Display the log messages stored in the Flash.

Usage

To display the global logging configuration, and the logging messages stored in the RAM and Flash, use the command show logging in the Privileged EXEC mode.

Example

The following example shows the global logging configuration.

Switch# show logging
Logging service is enabled
Aggregation: enabled
Aggregation aging time: 300 sec
Console Logging: level notice
Buffer Logging : level notice
File Logging : disabled
